Life changed in an instant for Julie Kemp and her son Landon Whitley on October 19, 1997. An ambulance t-boned their car as they were driving home from church. Julie awakes in a hospital bed to learn that her husband Andy died on the way to the hospital, and to hear that her only child would likely not survive.

Julie and Landon openly share their grief journey, and the miracle of Landon's recovery, Landon's 3 visits to heaven, and a miracle of forgiveness!

Julie is now a GriefShare Facilitator and has written 3 beautiful books (links below). Faith Has Its Reasons is a book about her experience that has inspired thousands of people. She and Landon have also written a beautiful children's book, Highway to Heaven, (available in Spanish as well) to encourage children who have lost a loved one.

I was beyond inspired to hear their testimony and feel honored to share this with you! They have appeared on numerous platforms including the Dr. Oz show, 700 Club, Inspiration Ministries, and many more. Their story has been heard around the world.

For we live by faith, not by sight.

—2 Corinthians 5:7 NIV

A few of Julie and Landon's take-aways that I loved:

"If you are on a grief journey, know that you WILL find joy again. The love you feel for that person will never go away, but the hole in your heart will eventually be filled with happy memories and gratitude for the time you shared together." Julie Kemp

"No matter what your fears, no matter what you doubts, no matter what your feelings are, always know that there is a God. There are angels, there is a heaven. Its all waiting for you. Always keep your faith alive and know that Jesus is real." Landon Whitley
